Quality and Research & Development
All incoming raw materials are qualified for compliance with processing and finished product specifications before they are used in production. Our experienced chemists use a variety of qualitative and quantitative analytical procedures including Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP), Atomic Absorption (AA) and various wet testing procedures – including titration – to determine acceptability. Materials are sampled and tested at critical stages of production to insure process consistency. Our quality assurance process is carried through to finished goods, where final products are sampled and evaluated for compliance with all applicable chemical and physical customer and regulatory requirements.
Research and Development:
New product development occurs in the Pilot Lab at our Cape Girardeau facility. A scaled-down version of our production equipment allows us to experiment with minimal amounts of raw materials on new product concepts without affecting commercial production. Small samples can then be produced on a pilot scale for customer evaluation and approval.
