GENERAL
Compaction is used to create consistent, uniform granulates from fine powder- like particles. The larger and more uniform particle size created by compaction improves material handling, transfer and shipping properties. It also provides a homogenous blend of dissimilar blended powdered components into a single granulate for consistency in application and performance. Compaction increases the surface area of granulated components creating process improvement for sintering, melting, combustion and/or dissolving in solution. Uniform granulation also improves production operations when larger size enhances both mixing speed and consistency. QC Corporation custom blends, compacts, granulates and sizes uniform combinations of a wide variety of materials on a tolling or contract basis to customer specifications.

APPLICATIONS
QC Corporation offers customized granulated blends for the fertilizer, animal feed, chemical, glass, refractory materials and metallurgic industries. Compaction is used when a uniform granulation and color is needed for improved market appeal and physical appearance or when uniform component distribution and dispersion is required in final use.
