GENERAL
Diamond Brand® Granular Ferrous Ammonium Sulfate is a 50/50 blend of Ferrous Sulfate Monohydrate ((FeSO4)H20) and Ammonium Sulfate ((NH4)2SO4). At QC Corporation's Cape Girardeau, MO facility, Ferrous Sulfate Monohydrate is blended with Ammonium Sulfate, compacted, granulated and screened for unifomity into a homogeneous granulate containing the same combination of Iron, Nitrogen and Sulfur.

APPLICATIONS
 Diamond Brand® Granular Ferrous Ammonium Sulfate is used in the Agricultural, Lawn and Garden, Golf Course and Turf Management industries as a growth and greening agent, to correct iron chlorosis or deficiencies in plants and soils, to eliminate moss, to reduce alkalinity, and as a trace element or micronutrient in fertilizers.

AGRONOMIC BENEFITS
 The combination of soluble Iron, Nitrogen and Sulfur contained in QC Corporation’s Diamond Brand® Granular Ferrous Ammonium Sulfate promotes the following advantages for fairways, greens, turf grass, trees and ornamentals:

  • Enhances quick and full greening responses from Iron when combined with Nitrogen.
  • Eliminates iron chlorosis, enhancing chlorophyll synthesis, photosynthesis and a greater availability of energy for translocation to the roots of turf grass and plants.
  • Helps condition alkaline soils to allow uptake of immobilized soluble micronutrient salts.
  • Generates greater root growth, improved turf quality and greater recovery from drought when frequent Iron applications are supplemented with Nitrogen applications.
  • Kills moss while improving the growth and color of grass.
